Amanda Smith

Amanda Smith

Amanda is originally from the UK, from a small village on the River Thames known as Goring on Thames, sixty miles outside of London - the famous ‘gap’ in the Chilterns, dating back to the Doomsday Book. She met her NZ husband whilst there, has been married for twenty years and has three fun-loving children. The eldest is studying at Canterbury University (Accountancy/Computer Science), the 2nd attends Rangiora High School and is studying Media Studies and Drama and the youngest is at Fernside Primary and is heavily into sport. Her interests are varied, but the one closest to her heart are her horses, her “paddock children”. She is qualified through the British Horse and British Driving Society and her greatest personal achievement was ‘breaking’ her young appaloosa to saddle and competing him to win her first three one day events, after a thirty year break from competition. Amanda also instructs at Eyreton Pony Club. She firmly believes that a partnership is sacred regardless of its origin. Amanda has run her own business in the UK, in Graphic Design, being qualified to degree level and later in child minding as an accredited DP1, Council registered carer while her youngest was still at home – with no vacancies. Amanda comes to the real estate industry with a worth of knowledge behind her, from having owned rental properties in the UK with her husband, to completing a 30 acre subdivision in New Zealand, with new ventures in mind for the future. She not only knows how to deliver high quality standards to her clients, but is highly motivated to give you her utmost service, with a friendly fun-loving attitude. She looks forward to meeting you with your own desires and aspirations within the real estate industry… so why not contact her to have an informal chat; she would love to meet you!
